My name is Marianne Mørck Danielsen and you are now reading abouth the most important project of my life.

I am a caregiver advocate, speaker and podcast host working to strengthen the voice of families living with dementia.

My journey began more than 16 years ago when my mother was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's. What started as a deeply personal experience gradually became a public commitment to share knowledge, create dialogue and advocate for better dementia care.

My mom, Gretha, was diagnosed with Alzheimers the same year that my daughter was born - in 2010.

Through my work I highlight the realities of the caregiver role and the emotional, practical and systemic challenges families face when dementia enters their lives. My goal is to make the journey less lonely for others while contributing to better awareness, collaboration and support systems.

I share my experiences and insights through my podcast "Ikke lett å glemme", where I speak with caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers and leaders about dementia, care and the future of support for families.

In addition, I give lectures and workshops for healthcare professionals, leaders, organisations and caregiver groups, bringing together personal experience, knowledge from the podcast and reflections on how dementia care can improve.

I am also the co-author of the book "Ikke lett å glemme", which explores the emotional reality of being a caregiver and the impact dementia has on families.

Through writing, speaking, podcasting and public dialogue, my mission is simple: to make dementia easier to talk about, easier to understand — and ultimately easier to live with.
